Hudson's 4th Birthday

Hudson turned 4 on Saturday November 26th.  We had his birthday party at our house.  The plan was to have the party outside, but thunderstorms and cold weather kept us inside.  We put up both tents inside.  The big one downstairs and the small one in the playroom.  Hudson had such a great time.  It was camping themed.  Our guests included: Nana, Papa, Aunt Lacy, Mamaw and Papaw, Cousins April, Rhett, Lori, Jeff, Macy, Madelyn, and Rhett, friends: Marshall and his mom (Rachel), Ella, Anna Claire, Amanda, and Joey, Jennifer and Will, Maddox and Malia, Adelyn, Mallory, LeaAnna, and Josh.  Hudson was in awe when we sang Happy Birthday to him, but he did great.  We had chocolate cupcakes, Roast Beef Sandwiches, acorn cookies (made by Lacy), smores cookies and canteens for favors, trail mix (made by Lynne).  My mom ordered and picked up the cupcakes.  Immediately following cupcakes Hudson opened his gifts.  He received lots of superhero gear (costumes, figurines etc).  Hudson also got a trampoline from Aunt Lacy, Nana and Papa.  After we opened gifts the kids played and the big kids went downstairs, where we turned out the lights and told ghost stories.  Hudson and his friends each told a very creative ghost story and Jason told them all the story of the 'Big Toe'.  They all loved it, but it did scare of couple of the girls.  Hudson's 'girlfriend' Adelyn came out of her room later that night and said she was scared because she'd eaten a burriTOE.  Jason made an awesome slideshow documenting Hudson's 3rd year, and he raked our entire yard in preparation for the party.  Hudson was so awesome the whole time, he shared and played well with all of his guests!
It is hard to believe our little boy is 4.  On the 29th of November we took him to the doctor for his 4-year checkup.  He weighed 41pds, and was in the 50-75%iles for height.  He had to get 4 shots plus the flu mist.  Let's just say the whole process was traumatic for all involved!
Holden also had his 15 month checkup.  He had to get four shots, and only cried for a minute.
